about

Sulaa was one of those rare cases for me where after coming up with the beginning of it I instantly knew how it would go and where it would be on the album - it would have to be the final, cathartic and purifying track on the album, and it would have to end in the very same melody as the intro, Jäätä, making the album come full circle. And, well, it's exactly what I imagined it to be! It's one of my very few upbeat (well, somewhat, and it still has a kind of a melancholy edge to it) tracks, and I love how, as a certain friend put it, it feels like the end credits to a movie or something. One of my personal favorites.
