about

I had some tremendous problems with this track because I didn't have the slightest damn idea on how to continue it after the first couple of bars. I knew I wanted the track to eventually get a beat, and I tried a number of different things including a completely awful club techno thing, but nothing worked. Then, finally, I suddenly got the idea that I should try cannibalizing a certain completely unrelated concept of a song I thought wouldn't fit on this album and throw it at Jääkukat - and boy, did it work! In fact, even though there were times when I was despairing over this track and felt like I'd never make anything worth putting on a release out of it, it ended up being one of my personal favorites out of everything I've made this far.

Appears it's a good idea have lots of unfinished material lying around. Even if the ideas aren't strong enough to work on their own, they might just help you out with other tracks.
